We Believe

Trinity:

We believe God exists eternally in three persons, God the Father-God the Son-God the Holy Spirit. These three persons are distinct and one God having the same nature and essence. (Matt. 28:18-19; Mark 12:29; John 1:14; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Cor. 13:14; Heb. 1:1-3; Rev. 1:4-6)

Bible:

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God given to men. We believe the whole Bible, Old and New Testaments (66 books), are without error in the original manuscripts. These words were given for our instruction and benefit to know God more fully. The Bible is fully authoritative in every aspect of life. (Mark 12:26, 36; 13:11; Luke

24:27, 44; John 5:39; Acts 1:16; 17:2-3; 18:28; 26:22-23; 28:23; Rom. 15:4; 1 Cor. 2:13; 10:11;

Sin and Humanity:

We believe that humanity was created in the image and likeness of God. Humanity, through Adam, fell into sin which caused separation from God. The consequences of this sin are eternal separation and a broken relationship in everyday life with God. (Gen. 1:26;

2:17; 6:5; Pss. 14:1-3; 51:5; Jer. 17:9; John 3:6; 5:40; Rom. 3:10-19; 8:6-7; Eph. 2:1-3; 1 Tim.

Salvation:

We believe salvation is only through faith in Jesus Christ. There is no effort anyone can attain to earn salvation. It is grace through faith in Jesus, his death and resurrection, we are healed and restored to a new relationship. Church Life:

We believe that the church is not a building but rather the gathering of believers in Jesus. The church is a gathering of believers for mutual encouragement, worship of God, and service to those in need. We highly encourage everyone to find a local church to attend for these purposes.
